MenuSnap can be run in auto mode through the use of a few command line parameters. For instance, you could setup MenuSnap to be automatically run silently on Windows startup or schedule the menu cleanup with the Windows Task Scheduler.

Table of Command Line Parameters
/h Auto mode. When this parameter is used MenuSnap will run and exit without displaying any dialogs.
/p  Previous Mode. Use this parameter to reset the menus based on the previously used settings.
/m  Snap Start Menu. Use this parameter to reset the Start menu programs.
/f Snap Favorites Menu. Use this parameter to reset the Internet Explorer Favorites menu.

Examples

menusnap.exe /h /m /f

menusnap.exe /p

In the first example, MenuSnap will "snap" both the Start and Favorites menus and exit silently. In the second example, MenuSnap will "snap" the menus based on the previously used settings.

Remarks

The command parameters can be used in any combination and order. The operations are all performed when the application is launched. When MenuSnap is run in silent mode (/h parameter) it will not display any dialog boxes unless there is an error and the operation cannot be completed.
